Who we help ...

The North Argyll Volunteer Car Scheme is committed to bridging the transportation gap for individuals who face challenges with public transport or lack personal vehicles. Our purpose is to support independent living, enabling access to essential appointments, social visits, and community events. With the support of our volunteers and generous funding, we aim to enhance the quality of life for adults who reside in the Community Council areas of Seil and Easdale, Luing, Kilninver and Kilmelford, Taynuilt, Glenorchy and Innishail, Avich and Kilchrenan.  (See map below)

Your Journey with Us: Step-by-Step

Step 1 :  Register, contact Lisa

Check that you live within the NAVCS operating area (map above) if so ...
Contact Lisa on 07356 207834 - and register with the Scheme.
Our service complements, but does not replace, public transport options.

Step 2 :  Request a journey

Once registered, contact Lisa to arrange your travel.  Whether it's for medical appointments or essential errands, our volunteers are ready to assist.
The more notice you can give, the better.

Step 3 :  Relax

Our volunteers will provide a door-to-door service, they receive no renumeration for their time.  NAVCS covers the fuel cost and you will make your contribution at the time of the journey.
